Gordon Yarley

Gordon Yarley is studying Film and Television Production at Humber College, in Toronto, Ontario and has previously graduated from the Regional Arts Program in Mississauga, Ontario at Cawthra Park Secondary School, having majored in Dramatic Arts.

After many years of working in community theatre, winning awards for both being on stage and backstage, Gordon produced and directed two small plays that were well received and enjoyed by the audiences that saw them.

​

The desire to perform and have his work be seen by more a larger audience however has driven Gordon to study Film and Television Production, so that he can tell the stories he wants to tell and work with a fast paced growing industry.

​

Gordon is a fan of all things Broadway and Musical, as well as Star Trek, Batman, Lego, Disney, Muppets, Tim Burton, Drag Race. He has two cats, Morticia and Bella. They make up the logo of Dreaming Cat Productions.

​

Gordon's influences can be attributed to watching old classic movies with his Mother when he was younger.  Favourite movies include The Muppet Movie, Young Frankenstein, The Court Jester, The Princess Bride, The Lord of The Rings, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Fantasia, Finding Nemo, and The Wizard of Oz.

Gordon dedicates his work to the memory of his Mother, who raised him and his Sister along with their disabled Brother as a single parent.
